Hi, I made a purchase on the marketplace as a gift and it was never delivered. What do I do?

There have been sporadic problems with gifting from Marketplace, but they're apparently hard to figure out.  See https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3864 for one that I've been watching since last Spring.  If you have relevant comments or information that might help the LL developers figure out what's wrong, please add them there. 

Meanwhile, get in touch with the merchant for the items you are interested in, explain the situation, and see if you can get redelivery.  Copy the Tranasaction History from your Marketplace order histoty so the merchant knows what you're talking about.  Most people are very understanding.

Hello Lasirra and welcome to SL Forums. We had last days many issues with Marketplace and still many users complain about. Especially with gifts the problem seems to be more usual. See: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3864? and add your comment. I think the best you can do is to submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened and wait for a reply. Be sure that someone will help you.

Alternatively you can try to contact the merchant. Open your Dashboard --> Shopping --> Marketplace --> My Marketplace --> My account --> Order History -->Take a copy of your last purchases (there you see the name of the merchant)--> Open your inventory --> create a New Notecard --> Paste there --> send the notecard to the merchant describing what was happened and asking politely for redelivery.

The person you delivered it to did they see it in their messeges or e'mail that they got a delivery......I have had that happened to me when the other person was afraid to accept or it was just overlooked...
