Weird: Can't uncheck "Only friends and groups can call or IM me"

Any suggestions?  It's GREYED OUT.  I'm using the latest Version 3 Linden Labs viewer on a mac.

I wonder if you first need to close all IMs.

You can change these settings outside SL on my.secondlife.com:

Thanks but I can't seem to find THAT setting in the link you sent me.  I'm poking around too and can't find it.  Any other suggestions?

Ah ok I see you don't understand my question.  I can't recieve IMS from NON-FRIENDS.  In the game I try to unselect that option but it's greyed out and won't let me do it.

FIGURED IT OUT!  Found this answer somewhere else and it works:

 

"if your voice is currently disabled, try enabling it and then see if you can uncheck the "only friends or groups can call or im". youcan disable voice again after that if you wish to."

Yes. Someone was in a hurry and/or lazy.  I had to look twice at the shortcut that reads 'Second Life Viewer 2'.
