If you selected your home then you received an email.  Follow the link in your email to your new little Linden home.

Check to be sure that you went to the right place.  Open your Dashboard at secondlife.com and go to Land Manager to find the parcel that you own.  Your house should be there.  Once you know where home is, use World >> Set Home Here to set that as your home base.  That way, you'll never get lost again.  Type CTRL + Shift + H and you're home again.
