Gaia Clary
I started with a box model (276 tris) and added 2 extra levels of subdivide (subsurf) and made the shoe "pretty" and smooth. Then I did a series of optimizations to the model. And after some experimentation I first got down to 1600 (not shown), later I found some not so obvious optimizations and got to 1200 tris. And today I added some triangles directly on the model and did a lot of edge optimizations. And I ended with 648 tris. This pretty much keeps the smoothness of the original object. (apologize the 648 tris model has a slightly different texture. I lost my original material settings)So I guess I can use the 648 as high level, 276 as medium and go down a lot lower for the low LOD and lowest LOD. When I use the 648 tris as high LOD and medium LOD and generate the other 2 LOD, I end with a 1 PE shoe. Here is Optimize part I: And yes, the title has a typo in the video ;-)

Miyo Darcy
Yes pretty nice. I must find out how I can subdivide in my tools. I didnt see a tool like this yet.
