How do you handle a death threat in Second Life?

My REAL life is being threatened by somebody in SecondLife because she was fired from the club where I work as a manager among others.  This woman is very aggressive (we all think she drinks), but when it comes down her threatening our REAL lives, how should we handle something like this?  We've all filed abuse reports at this point, but we want some immediate action.

Everybody needs to mute her at once, then make sure she is banned entirely from the region.  Be sure her name is on the ban list for your property also so she can't come there and if you really feel her RL threats are genuine, you need to contact the authorities.

If you believe the death threat(s) is real then the first thing you need to do is notify your local law enforcement supplying as much information as you have (including chat logs that show these threats).  Second thing you need to do is Abuse Report this person to LL (again supplying as much information at possible) and tell LL that you have notified your local law enforcement.  Your local law enforcement will probably advise you to contact the FBI (if you are a US citizen) and you should follow that advice........make sure that your local law enforcement makes a complete report of your complaint (that will help if this person actually attempts to follow through with any of those threats).  Tell  everyone who has also recieved these threats to do the same.  And lastly, mute and ban this person from everything you are associated with in SL. 

 

Continue to notify your law enforcement agency and LL every time this person repeats these threats.  LL takes personal threats very seriously.  And it's a felony to threaten anyone with physical harm on the Internet..........make sure you get those reports to law enforcement.  This is not something to blow off.

If she doesn`t know your RL details, ignore her, nute her, move on.

If she knows where you live & you think she is serious and not just drunk & babbling, contact the RL authorities.
