SL does not start up

Whe i go and double click my second life icon it doesnt start up any suggestions? It used to work a couple days ago then just wont start up no error messages just doesnt do anything removed and reinstalled but still nothing.

As a test, try another viewer to see if you have the same problem with that too or if it is a specific problem to your usual viewer.

You say it worked 2 days ago. Did you download the update? If so, you must know there are major bugs in it that are currently being fixed by LL. In the meantime, you may reinstall an older version OR try an approved third party viewer such as Firestorm which works great:

I'm also having the same problem. Fresh Win7 Pro 32-bit install. :matte-motes-sour:

I work in IT, so it'snot like I don't know what I'm doing. I have all necessary latest Nvidi GeForce drivers + all .NET etc.

 

(Core2duo 2.4ghz - 3gb mem - win7 pro 32-bit - nvidia geforce 8800 gts)

 

trying latest downloaded SL : v2.7.5.235722

 

there's no reason this shouldn't be loading. it crashes as soon as you launch it. wish there was a debugger of some kind so i know what's causing it to crash. i know there's a win_crash_logger.exe in the program dir, which i've opened/submitted, but it doesn't give you the info it collects on startup crash.

 

EDIT: where can we download older version of the SL viewer?
