Are there any clubs that play actual jazz and swing?

I stay in a pretty small circle these past few years, but I've always found lots of Jazz over the years, even back to the 1920's.

You could try the DESTINATION GUIDE - follow this link and then click OPEN MUSIC   ...Would be fun to have a retro music festival once a year, too!

Darn. Club Noir would have suited you perfectly, sadly I stopped doing DJ events a while back, because of dwindling audience.

However, the club itself is still there, and will remain, so if you're just looking for somewhere quiet to go and dance with a partner or a handful of friends, you're welcome to pop by any time.  If the rado stream is playing something that's not swing, hit the jukebox and select streams 1, 4 or 6. A few of the others are defunct and some play a mix but those three play just vintage swing/jazz 24/7.  (number 1 is KCEA; they are sometimes a bit hit and miss, and go offline occasionally).

I suggest you send an in-world IM to Beathag McMahon - she was my best swing DJ and she still works elsewhere around the grid but it changes frequently so I'm not sure what's current. But I promise, if there is any swing happening in SL, she will know about it (and she is probably DJing there). Tell her I sent you :)

The Blue Note, established in 2005, soft blues and jazz.  I haven't been in ages so I'm not sure how much clientele it gets.  But I have verified it does still exist.  I used to go there a lot and partnered with my first SL love there.   http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The Blue Note/229/182/22
