The pictures I take, are placed on hold?

It now says: ""You have 3 snapshots being processed"".
I have been unable to add photos now for 3 months.

This problem comes up occasionally and the longest
period it was stuck, was 5-6 months a number of years ago?
It's always strange every time it happens.

I can type and send text there...and it pops up right away, but
the pictures that I take, will not (because they are being processed "forever")

It's not the end of the world, but it's just strange.

I assume you are talking about sending photos to your Profile Feed.  I don't use that feature, but my best guess would be that possibly your snapshots are being taken at too high of a resolution.  You might need to open a Support ticket for the issue.
