W O W I have now after this crazy happening.... tested MANY outfits and NOW all outfits seem to be working again???? But I first had to take off all the outfits I had on, alphas, tattoos, make ups, hairs, blings....yes all but for some 3-4 parts we can't take off ....adding back the "saved" parts for that very outfit. Save... And first then, it was like normal again for all other outfits I put on. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I so not get it ...but I am so happy of course......

I was changing the name on my subfolder under the Outfits folder. It refused to to change name. All lagged badly. I re logged and when I was back the name of the folder was finally changed. BUT as i looked at my avatar, I had all of a sudden 2-3 heads on me and a lot of other things, that I haven't save on that outfit I was wearing? No matter what outfits, bodies, clothes, that I have saved and no matter if I click on the currently outfit to re load it, it will add 3-4 full outfits on me and it will add some heads too? Many hairs 3-4 outfits on top of each other and a lot of everything. Normally this is not possible bc of the limits we have concerning "slots" to add to? I checked inside each saved outfit as well. There are a lot of doublets like teeth and settings for eyes are very different? No matter what outfit I choose... it will add so much on top of each saved outfit? Is this some sort of bug, or some crazy thing that can happen before one bigger update? I have cleared all 3 caches like I do when such odd things happen. It didn't help. And ALL my saved outfits acts up like this. Mixing bodies/heads/hairs/heels. At least 3 and maybe 4 outfits will be visible, as all is loaded for each saved outfit? I have now stripped one first outfit of all that was attached. (SO MUCH and totally CRAZY) Then I have added back the correct items "ONLY" and then re saved it. If I have to do this procedur for each of my around 800 outfits. It will take me around a year to re save all I have...Well maybe not, but at least like 4-5 months if I do this 4 to 8 hours a day this will take easily (with all settings and fine adjustments needed) This is really the most odd thing I have ever experienced in my soon 11 years at 2nd Life? I will try again tomorrow, because this is nothing I can solve myself tonight Best regards Sara

Thank you for the suggestions and yes ...we should really send as much possible about this topic ....so that they at least will be aware of it, in the same way as we are. I know that I am far, far, from the only person that wish for this feature to return. First I thought that it maybe was me having to much saved and I would soon have 300.000 Elements in total. I have had endless of chats and I decided yesterday to erase all old bodies that I never will use again, and by that all the outfits I had for those bodies. I had also a small hope that this would fix the "problem" with not being able to add subfolders. To remove that feature was not the smartest decision ever, I must say. I will think of this with Jira. Yes I made one of the 5 last folders I have as a new fictive MAIN Outfits folder. Directly under the systems Outfits folder. ....and started to organize in subfolders under that folder...... But new ppl at 2nd will never have that feature and will have to have a LOOOOONG list with 1000's of saved outfits and only names of the folders "separate" the different bodies/heads etc of what ppl named their save outfits. Hi! For a year now (maybe more) we have not been able to create subfolders under our main folder Outfits. One answer got on this several of times, has been that I have to much inside my inventory. I have always had all organized well inside my "Outfits", with not just bodies, but with names of heads and skins as well for each sub folder and then sub folders again under the first sub folder to find things very fast, instead of scrolling in one endless list. Yesterday I decided myself to finally clear out a lot of no longer used bodies/clothes and most of all around 1000 saved outfits under the main folder called Outfits. In a first step I cleared over 120.000 elements. My mistake was to not save, the already created subfolders (around 20). It would have been so easy to just rename them. I should have kept them. Now I have only 5 subfolders left for the "sub main folders" for some of the bodies I kept. Inside those subfolders I can create as many sub folders I need. (I can name one of these folders to "outfits" and go from there worst case. But still..... Is the feature with creating subfolders directly under the main folder OUTFITS coming back? And if not, why? To not have that feature is a little like throwing away all the drawers, shelves and clothes hangers and just have one huge open space to throw ones clothes into. Thanks for answers concerning this.

It now says: ""You have 3 snapshots being processed"". I have been unable to add photos now for 3 months. This problem comes up occasionally and the longest period it was stuck, was 5-6 months a number of years ago? It's always strange every time it happens. I can type and send text there...and it pops up right away, but the pictures that I take, will not (because they are being processed "forever") It's not the end of the world, but it's just strange. Thanks for all the answers... 🙏 I guess there is no limit then....But yes I will clean up a little. Maybe between 5000-10.000 Elements in total. But wonder if it can be like that, that it all depends on what settings you have here, or if it depends on your computers performance? Anyway...it felt good that some people have more in their inventories, even a lot more than me. If kept organized and taking cared of, ones inventory can actually be smooth to handle, even with "a lot" of elements inside it. /Sara

LOL.... "Just" a normal user. Okay so you walk around as some given guideline here for what is normal? Good to know... Thank you! You have no clue and that is fine. But don't tell me that it's wrong. Some people have been here for 15 years + and have not spent 1 single linden here. They have same outfit every year in and out and not even wearing an AO? That's fine, but that is their choice right? As much as I and many with me, see this it in a complete different way. I can understand that males not have too much to buy concerning clothes. Like ok... let's buy some other 500 suits in black or blue or gray. We have a little, "just a little" more to buy in compare to males. If you have many different bodies, you will need a lot of things for them, all over again and again and again. You don't throw away all contents concerning 1 body, just because you buy yet another body. I don't have that many bodies really. Just 9, but still...

Well i almost got it, that someone would love to send some pictures of rooms with crazy overfilled areas..... It was not at all what i meant.... And yes, you so know it If you have a good order in your inventory. It should not affect anything. I have no problems what so ever, because I have as said, a very good order inside it. Okay so the database has limits....True. but why isn't that something we have information of as we start here? I mean ...What are the maximum amount of Elements? Ok ...300.000 Elements is much ....But not really, after 10 years. So tell car collector: - You must sell some cars? Why? This person must be able to build a bigger garage, or get some more garages? No? "No" because there is a limited amount, of that you only can own 76 cars? Hmmmmm ...Wow how comfortable, then we all know ....Zzzzzzz

Well it's not the inventory itself that is a problem. Mine loads fast, I have a good structure inside it. It is not slow. If I clear all cashes, it takes like 1-2 minutes maximum and then all items are visible. The question is, of why there is this "invisible" rule of that you will not be able to log into your account, as soon you reach 300.000 Elements or more? That is the question...

Thank you all for your replies. I sorted out around 30.000 items some 6-7 years ago. just because I felt I would never use them again. Not because I was forced to do so. I will go through a lot of my things and se what eventual not necessary items i can get rid of. I have stayed around 220.000 and 240.000 for many years. but as soon we get into too many bodies, it goes fast up in amount inside your inventory. Yes true that it's faster to have a little inventory. Good order with main folders and subfolders and a good order of our things makes it way easier to handle and find. A good tip then to move faster inside your inventory. If you mark not only just 1 item you have bought, but at least 2 items, hold in shift and start to drag the items tho the main folder of that body you wearing (If now both items are for same body. This will increase the speed inside your inventory when u drag the items up/down. It can be well worth it to drop both items inside the correct folder for one item, but wrong for the other item. The wrong placed item will now just have to be moved a shorter distance. I noticed that 3-4-5 items marked increase the speed further more so it's a good way to drag items longer distances .

Hi and ty so much for your reply Yes you are right there. She did all that first. Then she had to get one other account on top of that, to be able to go on creating things as well, because she is a creator.... So it all seems very strange. I have never heard of this. Never read of this. And it's not exactly a crime to own things "you yourself" have invested in. But to loose this much bought items, because of some limit/roof, never heard of....really feels bad i must say?

Tonight I was in a chat with good friends and one of them told me, that she could not log into 2nd Life, as soon her inventory reached 300.000 Elements? She then had to contact the Linden Labs that explained to her, that 300.000 Elements is what "you" maximum can keep inside your inventory and then she had to clean up inside her inventory. A lot of things bought, needed to be thrown out...And she had to throw things, she really had liked to keep. I have cleaned up a lot in my inventory some years ago, but have now 279.000 + Elements. Is it really that bad, that your account stops to work because you're a good customer, having spent a lot of lindens on Outfits, Heels, Make up's, Hairs, Accessories, Skins, Bodies, AO's, etc, etc, etc? This was totally new information to me. If you know anything about this, it would have been nice of you to share that information. Thanks in advance! I use Firestorm and after latest up date I crash hysterically much. Especially after changing outfits to another saved outfit, but even when removing things and less often but it happens as I teleport or scroll back and forward to rez a little faster. Fixed! Weeeeeeeeee ♥♥♥ Very strange......I made a clear cache AFTER I re installed Firestorm again... after a CLEAN INSTALL (which wasn't enough)

Now I have un installed Firestorm and installed it again. Still same thing. This is utterly bad

all my folders with Landmarks... & all my folders with saved Outfits are empty. Tonight I see that so most of my folders are. Some few have an arrow one step or so further down but main folders are all showing empty. It was so over 1 hour after I crashed yesterday and is the same today as I now logged back in... like 16 hours later? How do I do to get it back to normal? I use Firestorms latest viewer. Yes I know....It sounds morbid? Now for 2 months plus.... Even before the latest update, it started. What then? Well I could not upload my pictures to my "homepage" here. It works lovely most days till about round 5 pm, then it's hopeless impossible and I will get a message saying: Failed to upload picture to your P (I guess page) So question is when that will start to work again? Btw, I am at Central European Timezone One male friend of mine just said: """ I guess servers can't handle USA waking up""" That could be close to the truth maybe?
