Full Sim Ownership And Land Use Fees

I actually haven't been able to find this in the Knowledge Base.

 

If I buy a private undeveloped region:

Set Up Fee: USD 349.00
Monthly Maintenance:
USD 229.00
Maximum Prims: 20,000

 

am I still going to have to pay the $166 in land use fees on top of the $229 monthly? I know, dumb question, but it's been a long and difficult search. I just want the point blank "yes" or "no"

Land use fees are for owning Mainland only.  Private regions are not mainland.

You CAN purchase an entire region on mainland if one is available.  I believe the prim allowance is 22000?  Once the land is purchased, then you would pay the $166 per month.  Only premium members can purchase mainland.

Private Islands, which is what you are asking about, can be purchased from LL without having any premium membership.  They are stand alone islands meaning no neighbors!   They can also be upgraded or purchased at 30000/prims with a higher monthly price.

In this scenario, no, you would only pay the private island $229 monthly maintenance fee.
