Basic users may not contribute land to groups? Recent land sale question

I recently sold group land.  Now I am trying to change my account to basic, and got the following error.  Can anyone help me?  I'm not sure what else I need to do.   An error occurred while processing your request

Basic users may not contribute land to groups. You must delete the tier contributions you made to groups which you belong before downgrading to the Basic Plan

Selling the group land does not remove the group tier contributions automatically.  You need to go to into the Group - Land/Assets and set You contribution to zero.  You may also need to go to Dashboard-Land Manager - Land Use Fees and set your tier to zero as well.

Do this to avoid an unnecessary increase of land tier.

1. Go to Edit > Groups.
2. Select the group the land is deeded to from the Groups window.
3. Click the Info button.
4. Click the Land & L$ tab.
5. Set Your Contribution to "0" sq meters.
6. Click OK.
