I believe that what they meant was that the purchase was declined by your credit card company.

Check to see that your card hasn't expired, and that you haven't hit your credit limit. Aside from that, you may need to contact your CC company to let them know to authorize charges from Linden Research, Inc.

I had a monthly renewal fail once, and immediately called my bank. They said the transaction had never reached them. Check with your bank.

There are many error codes for credit card transactions, and Tilia does not pass them back to the customer. Transactions fail for many non-financial reasons.
