What is bind camera view in set hover height?

That's interesting. It must have been interesting enough to the Firestorm people that they renamed it "Affect camera view". It appears that, with it UNchecked, the cam stays at the same height, pointed the same way regardless of hover height, but with it checked, the cam moves up and down as the hover height changes, but apparently aimed at the same fixed point somewhere associated with the avatar's center (the same aiming point regardless of the hover height adjustment*), so as the cam rises it rotates downward to stay directed towards that point, and rotates upwards as it slides downwards. Or something like that.

This is probably a naive restating of what you already observed, huh? I don't know any more details, sorry, maybe a dev could answer a specific question.)
