How do I activate the "JOIN GROUP" button on my group profile?

I created a group (HAIKU QUAN). It has general content and anyone can join. There is no cost. It has 24 members. 

But when you SEARCH > GROUPS > HAIKU QUAN and you find the group profile, the "JOIN GROUP" button is greyed out.

I am able to INVITE residents to join the group.

How do I activate the "JOIN GROUP" button?

Is this fixed? Because I get a "JOIN NOW!" button when I view this group's profile, corresponding to the "Anyone can join" checkbox being checked.

(Groups can be fussy about showing updates. Sometimes it helps to change active groups. Sometimes relogging. No idea if that's relevant here, though.)

If you are searching your group with an avatar that is already a member of the group, the button will be grey.
