Extra prims on premuim

My question is: When I get the auctioned land. say that I want more prims. can I get them from LL or do I need get more land then deed to group?

Secret way of getting more prims is to look around the region to see if there are any other odd spots of abandoned land that Linden Lab might consider selling to you. That way you get the extra prims you need to use on the parcel that you obtain via the auction.  Obviously any land you buy does count towards your tier costs.

Deeding land to a group has nothing to do with extra LI/Prims (it just gives you a 10% bonus in tier).   The LI is completely controlled by the size of the land and whether or not it is a 'double prim' parcel.
