is there a way to check the uvmap of a model fullperm that I bought in SL ?

If an UV map isn't included it usually means the mesh is made for tiled rather than baked textures but I suppose you've already thought of that.

Did you check if there is a link to an online UV map? Some makers do it that way to save on upload fees.

Then there are two workarounds that may or may not work:

  • If it's a fairly simple mesh with a fairly simple UV map, you can try to use a texture alignment map instead of the UV map.
  • If the mesh came with a copy of the original texture, you can download it and use it as the UV map.

If all else fail, contact the seller.

  • Thanks 1
