How to look one's age — with mesh

I've come back to SL after having left before mesh was a thing, and I'm a little at sea. My current avatar face is kind of what I want, but none of it is mesh. Is it possible to get a mesh head and skin etc that looks old? Any recommendations?

There is a feature called Bakes on Mesh that allows you to wear your old system skins with mesh parts. You can browse the tutorials on Bakes on Mesh: https://virtualbloke.com/tutorials

 

As for the offerings on the market, Poema carries some mature skins and Logo has a mesh head, Victor.  Hopefully someone else can come up with more suggestions.

Like all our heads Victor comes with skins, facial hair and lots of other options. For Victor I've also included a de-aged version of the skin which installs into the tattoo layer. Using the tattoo fade slider you can control how much you want to see the wrinkles. Find whatever balance is right for you!

My avatar is a traditional body - Eugene shape; Aeros Avatar Maxwell, skin brandy. 

My beard is 2 tattoo layers for the salt and pepper look. 

A variety of other tattoo layers also. 

Have been in Second Life since Oct.2007, and this is how I look my age.

I guess this makes me a bonafide Second Life Senior =)

The OP asked for "mesh" recommendations, not classic avatars. This is derailing the topic. You are also spamming this thread with advertising your hangout, for people to come to.
