There really are not a lot of jobs available in SL besides those you have already tried unless you can create some kind of content.  There is landscaping and decorating but you'd need to show what type of work you can do by having a portfolio of work completed.

I've known people who have hosted at clubs for years.  There are job postings in that area every day here.  If you're looking for one that may last longer, check out clubs that have been around a long time.  Big Daddy's, Wet Willies, Fogbound blues, Junkyard blues.

As far as I know, hosting is a long lasting job as well. It depends on your personality, if you have a out going persona and if you're chatty.
