Marigold Devin Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 In the log in screen, for the first name please type in your name - uptownbabe In the box where it asks you for your last name, type the word "Resident" When you log in for the very first time, you will be shown basic functions during a short tutorial. I do not want to overload you with information, but have been thinking about what could be most useful to you. I think you will have had a welcome email when you first registered your account. There will be a link on their to the Destinations Guide. This gives a lot of choices of where to go in Second Life, things to see and to do, where to meet people, or to be alone, or to build, or to explore. There are also some very useful video tutorials, put together by Torley Linden, who is just awesome http://secondlife.com/my/whatnext/video-tutorials/index.php This link will take you to an index page, where you can look through videos, and view the ones most useful to you.
