Question

When I log into Sl on one of my toons, I have what seems to be everything in my inventory attached. ie 5 pairs of shoes a few skirts and anything else that will fit. I have searched the web for any suggestion and I can't seem to find anything.

Thanks you guys for your suggestions but it isn't any of those. I have changed viewers and it happens on every single one, every time I log in it happens.

There is a limited number of attachments that can worn, 38 I think it is, so maybe it was just one of those weird SL glitches or you accidentally clicked a folder full of stuff before you logged out. I once dragged my objects folder onto my avatar by mistake, that was messy lol

Detach everything and see if it happens again. If it does it every time you log in that could be a problem.

I've had this happen to me when I've been swapping between Viewer 1.23, Viewer 2, and Phoenix. Or it has seemed to be a whole lot of my inventory that has attached itself to my avatar, but it is part of one outfit from my last login on Viewer 2, and two lots of hair, one half of a pair of shoes, a boot. It is very odd when it happens.

(After I've tutted with initial annoyance) For the sake of speed, I just usually carry out a character test (Advanced Menu, Character, Test Character, Test Female/Male) and then drag my emergency folder over to my avatar, containing fave skin, shape, hair, clothing, HUDs. Luckily it doesn't happen often.

It could be that you have the cache for each viewer still in the same place. Change the cache location for one viewer to somewhere else and clear cache on both viewers. It should be ok after that.
