Eddy Vortex
When I'm at a live show, sometimes I have trouble hearing the music because there's a noisy prim, such as a bird or water fountain interfering with it. And it's driving me crazy. How do I pinpoint the location of the noisy prim so I can mute the offending object? Alwin Alcott
in firestorm there's a sound explorer ( menu world) or disable sound in the media controls, dj's and live performances mostly use the "music"channel 2
Eddy Vortex
It looks like I'm gonna have to switch to Firestorm, won't I? The LL viewer doesn't have the sound explorer in its World menu. I also realized the direct muting of objects isn't a thing for it either. I could mute people, but not prims. The closest thing to the sound explorer in the LL viewer is through World > Show > Beacons > Sound sources. I forgot I could turn down the Sound Effects in Preferences. 🤦♂️ So thanks for reminding me of this. 👍
