Problems with Sitting

For the last few months, I have been having trouble sitting (mostly on a chair, bench, couch, etc.).  Sometimes I have a problem, sometimes not.  I will just hang right above it, often in an odd position. For awhile I assumed it was lag, but I can hang there 15-20 minutes without ever sitting. In the case of a scripted table, I actually messed up the script when I attempted to sit. What's frustrating to me is that others there sat down with no problem.

What I'm looking for is any ideas at all of what could be causing this. It's driving me crazy because I don't know what's different about me from the other avi's.

Are you running an AO ?  I have found these problems go away if I turn the AO off.

That is nearly always the problem.

Second Life seriously needs an update to the animation system with root-motion animations, proper and obvious animation permission system, scripted movement etc...
