When are Land Use Fees charged?

If I own a large enough plot of land to pay monthly fees, when will these fees be charged? In addition, do I need to pay into my balance in advance or will it be charged directly?

If you have a USD balance, they will use it first.  Otherwise, they will use your stated payment method. 

Your Account Summary page (https://secondlife.com/my/account) will tell you your exact date -- it is different for everyone.  You will be charged for the largest amount of land that you owned at any point in the preceeding month of that billing date.

If you have never paid tier before, your first monthly payment will be one month after the day you purchased your Mainland parcel, and on that same day of the month every month thereafter.

If you HAVE paid tier before, check your Land Holdings as LittleMe suggests.  Your billing date will be shown there.
