Is there any way I can search a forum for my own posts?

I think I used to be able to do that. Now, the closest I can come to is is a search that returns posts by others in which my name is mentioned.

Go your Forum profile then click "See their activity".

Click your name -- to the left of your post.   Then click 'See my activity' towards the right side.  They'll be in chronological order.
