SL Viewer color picker showing only black

I keep having this strange problem where the color picker in SL Viewer become black. For example, if I try to create a box the only color option is black. The chat becomes black as well so I can't see what I am typing. This happens every single day, but relogging fixes the issue. Does anyone know what the problem may be and if there is a permanent fix for it?

I'm using the newest SL viewer, my pc specs are:

We ask that you use the viewer's HELP->About... to collect all the viewer pertinent information. You have provided only a small subset of the information we need.

The NVIDIA driver you are using is old. You might try a newer one, 26.21.14.3630. or aka 436.30.

Have you checked that this happens in other regions?

Have you reinstalled over the existing install?

This can happen if you untick Basic Shaders in graphics preferences.

Thank you so much for your help! I do often switch my graphics preferences from low to medium to take a quick photo, I think that is what has been causing this problem. I am going to uninstall and do a clean install, as I have recently reinstalled over the existing install (when prompted to by the SL Viewer) so that could be causing issues as well. I appreciate your taking the time to respond to my post!
