sangresabio
Hello, it seems when I use the align feature in build tools i'm often surprised by which prim moves. Is there any easy way to tell which prim will move when attempting alignment?
Christhiana
In edit mode select "Show Highlight". This puts a yellow or blue border around the selected objects.

Pamela Galli
The arrows define which side the selected items will align to. If you want to align to the side a certain item, make sure that side is farthest out beyond that side of other items. Then click the arrow. Practice on cubes first. sangresabio
I think I understand how to use this tool a little better. I had some objects over lapping and I think it was confusing me. I did end up finding some youtube tutorials that made it a little easier to understand. thanks!
