I think I understand how to use this tool a little better. I had some objects over lapping and I think it was confusing me. I did end up finding some youtube tutorials that made it a little easier to understand. thanks!

hmmm, ok still yet, not sure i'm getting consistent results when trying to align two objects. sometimes the wrong object moves despite the highlighted color.. is there a comprehensive guide I can read that explains this fully? thanks for the assistance.

Hello, it seems when I use the align feature in build tools i'm often surprised by which prim moves. Is there any easy way to tell which prim will move when attempting alignment?
