Question

I never thought I'd complain about not being able to use Viewer 2 but here it is... It was working fine and then I'm not really sure what happened but I tried to open it and it won't load, I just get a pop up that says "The Ordinal 2604 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll" I uninstalled and reinstalled but that did not help.

I use Windows 7

Oh, hey thanks. Changing to viewer 2.62 worked.

Some recently had a similar error after trying to instal LL on an external HD, if you have done the same that coule be one reason.

If it is not that, what changed to start the problem, did you update to the latest viewer?

A lot of people are having problems logging in on that, try going back to the last version http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Supported_Viewers remembering to switch off automatic updates in your preferences.
