shapes and clothing wont load

i can see my shapes in inventory but when i try to 

wear it says they are not downloaded

Clear your cache. That should help.

Hello scunky. At first move in a region with less lag and check your internet connection. Open your inventory, type something in filter there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. If they are still loading you dont try to change shape. If you still have problems, clear your cache. Usually, it helps:

(XP) - C: - Documents and Settings - (USER NAME) - AppData - SecondLife
(Vista) - C: - Users - (USER NAME) - AppData - Local - SecondLife
(Win 7) - C: - Users - (USER NAME) - AppData - Roaming - SecondLife

Delete the contents of the folder and restart.

If you dont see the folder AppData (hidden folder), give the command: Windows Tools --> Folder Options --> Tab View --> Show hidden files / folders -->OK
