Profile forum pic size dimensions?

I used a photo that is 1024 by 768. I cropped it with their crop tool before clicking Save. My picture is very blurry. The original size of the pic is 1500 by 1125. Which size dimension do I use from this pic so that it is crisp and big enough to see the face?

I cropped mine down to 320x320 before adding it here in the forums.  It orginally came from one that was taken inworld at 4096 x ??? something.
