Does any software create smooth animations from poses?

I'm working on two animations which are smooth transitions from one pose to another. (Ski jumper going from a crouch to the flying pose, then from the flying pose to the classic landing position.) Is there any free or inexpensive software which can animate smoothly from one pose to another?

You can use simple poses with pretty high ease out (the first) and ease in values (the second). Firing the second pose before the first one is stopped, makes the transition smooth like in an animation. You will need something between 1 and 2 seconds eases, and make sure the first animation stops after the same amount of ease time used in the second animation. Do this in a chain with all the necessary poses, and it will look like it was animated.
