Chris Corvinus
https://gyazo.com/2c3cb170e50e25f93eede5f06ad8e636 I'm been telling them repeatedly for months to change their max prim numbers to correctly reflect what people actually get now and they just ignore it and its bugging the hell out of me. It doesn't take that long to replace a few lines of text ffs...
Whirly Fizzle
I didn't see a JIRA issue for that so I created one BUG-134093 - Land Store still shows the old prim limits

No idea how long it takes but still shows old numbers. Kinda weird we have to file bug reports to get them to update their own site.

Best to file bug reports for anything broken or LL won't know about the problem.

I always thought it was proper to make changes and update your own website at least with any significant changes to your programs. I mean, I can understand program bugs but this isn't even technically a bug lol. We shall see though.
Chris Corvinus
Ok wtf they closed it with the resolution deeming it a duplicate. And it STILL has not been updated to reflect the correct amounts.
Parhelion Palou
That means there is already a Jira ticket to fix the problem. It's BUG-41610, submitted by Chaser Zaks on March 25, 2017. The priority is set to trivial and it's not assigned to anyone, so don't expect action soon.
Chris Corvinus
I'm just saying it amounts to false advertising. So not exactly trivial.
Parhelion Palou
It's inaccurate, but usually a company is accused of false advertising when they claim their product does more than it actually does. In this case LL is hurting themselves by claiming something that's not as good as reality. SL's website is particularly bad in the land section. I think they'd be better off rewriting all of it than fixing small errors. Specifications such as LI limit, number of people allowed on a region, build height, etc. should be retrieved from a database so all pages that have the information are updated automatically when the database is updated. LL isn't a big company; I'm sure they've got a long to-do list for web updates/redesign and not many people to work on them.
