Did you know that someone can block you, but then still spam you with instant messages from a scripted object?

Did you know that if someone else blocked you, they could still spam you with "regular" IM.  If they are the blockers, then they can still IM you, which would effectively remove the block - though they could put it back. In any case, I belive you can mute an object. Also, if the object messages are specifically geared towards you, request the person stop them and if they do not, then Abuse Report them.

I should have specified- they can spam you and not remove the block. You're still blocked, even though they're sending you messages, which is inconsistent, since sending anything else unblocks you.

Ahh.  Yeah, if the object is owned specifically by them, then it is an inconsistency.  If you block them, does it successfully block the object spam if the object is owned by them?

They can spam you through an object from anywhere on the grid, a lot of people think its anonymous but if you click on the chat/IM link it will show the owner of the object. You can block/mute the owner and also block/mute the object but if they rez another copy of the object that one wont be muted. Its a easy mute and if they continue AR them and move on.
