You have almost certainly placed your order with the Limit Buy option.  That was a mistake, unless you understand how currency exchanges work.  For now, your smartest move is to cancel that order (on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> LindeX >>> Manage >>> LindeX Order History).  The money that Linden Lab has been holding for you will return immediately to the USD balance in your SL account, where you can use it to place a new order.  Next time, use the Market Buy option, to accept the current market price for L$ and get the order filled immediately.
