when building how do you line up your walls and floor boards quickly

my friend is learning to build but he has un even boards through ou the house how can he snap thosew boards into place so they all line together easily

How I do it is: Hold down the shift key on your keyboard and click the two or however many objects you want to align up with your mouse to select them. In the editing window while building, select the 'align' option, then tweak with the red, green, blue arrows until it's how you want it. Tell your friend to test this out with some basic cubes first so he gets the hang of it!

The fastest is just to eyeball them so that they do not result in flickering textures.

The fastest way is not the most precise way... SL isn't picky about things lined up, so why waste time on it unless conformity to precision is a priority in your design.
