Second Life auto crash?

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here I believe, but I have a problem here. Both the base SL viewer and the Firestorm viewer are automatically closing up at launch. I've re-installed it several times, and regardless there is no change. They get past the boot up prompts, the window then goes white and then closes out with no prompt. Does anyone have any ideas?

would be helpfull you told a bit more about your system... for a normal windows user "boot up prompts" are like abracadabra....no clue what you'r talking about 

 

open the help menu of the viewer copy the system specs and edit your post to add your info please

The problem is I can not access the viewer at all. It is a "Detecting Hardware" , and "Initializing VFS" prompt in particular. I'm running Windows 10, 12GB or RAM, R9 380 GPU, and AMD FX-8350 4.01GHz.

if you don't get other warnings/messages perhaps you can use this http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_install_crash (also for other viewers this applies)

If you could give us a bit more detail regarding error messages and the like and some system details it would help us all greatly to try and solve the issue as Alwin pointed out. Posting as much detail as you can really helps get to the core of the problems and give you a first rate answer.

If you can gather any of this and edit your post it would be awesome.

I am having the same issue..It started a few days ago after Windows 10 did an update that took a few hours to complete on my computer. The only pop up i get is the crash log error box other than that I get no error messages, no internet connection problems. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, did a clean install, reset my router. I have tried logging into Phoenix Firestorm, Singularity, and the LL viewer, all do the same thing. It goes to the loading screen and then almost as soon as I am loaded in it closes. I have also had it crash a few times not even logging me in. Here is what I copied from the help menu on firestorm
