Can a resident create an infohub on private region where visitors can gather?

Hi,

Although I have been around for some time but have only recently been reading about info hubs. I own a private region and was wondering if residents can create an info hub for visitors to gather and socialize.

InfoHubs are Linden Lab constructions.  See the list here >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Infohub .  Since you are not Linden Lab, you can't create an InfoHub.  You can certainly create a gathering spot of your own, though.  Call it Seiichi's Club, put on a few events, offer some services, and have fun.

I've certainly seen info hubs created by users. Maybe you can't particularly call it an official "info hub" but I have seen plenty of informational locations for new and old members to gather. If you want to create a space to help new members, you are able to do so, come up with a creative name for it besides "info hub".
