is it against tos to create texturing on mesh with disney characters?

Hi Samantha,

If you are creating a one-of-a-kind thing for yourself or a friend (make sure it's no copy/no trans), I wouldn't worry about copyright. You'd probably fall under "fair use". But, if you're creating something for resale, I'd stay away from using any Disney imagery, even if it doesn't come from Disney. I wouldn't even hand draw things that would be easily recognized as Disney characters.

Just how close you can get to insinuating Disney intellectual property is a judgment call, and Disney probably doesn't have moles crawling SL and filing DCMA notices, so there's some wiggle room. Marketplace advertised items are seen by more people, so your chances of inviting criticism for getting too close to copying are increased.

I think that's my long winded way of saying "use common sense".
