Advertising RL business?

Hello.

I'm thinking about using Second Life to advertise my Real Life business.

Do people think this is a good idea?  Why or why not?  What particular methods in Second Life would be effective or ineffective?

I would recommend being more detailed about your RL business. If you do not want to give details then I would not expect many serious responses. Here is another forum post where an individual asked a question similar to yours.

Go ahead, I've done it for years.  works some what, but population is kinda dying off, so it's one of those things, dont expect a massive amount of business from it.   I range between 25 and 30 bucks a month.

Is it something that a scattered RL customer base is likely to need AND can they use your services from where they are?
