Perhaps your group messages are exceeding your cap.  If you receive more than 25 IMs, group messages, etc. while you are off line, the extras are simply deleted from the system, not forwarded.

My main avatar did not exceed the 25 cap. However, do they count the individual avatar or do they count all IMs, including alts that go to the same email address?

Hmmm...  So that's not the solution.  No, Linden Lab does not include all the messages that your alts may have received.  Your alts are different people. However, I suppose it's possible that your e-mail system or your ISP may have a wierd spam filter to keep you from being overwhelmed by messages that all come from Linden Lab.  Unlikely, but possible ..........

Are you sure that your groups are actually sending you messages?

I am in the group that is sending the notices. Also one of my alts is in the group and the group notices are coming in for her. I did go on as the alt today and her emails had been capped.

That's most peculiar, Zip. I suggest submitting a support case to see if Linden Lab can figure it out.
