Password script

Hi. I am building diferents gifts boxes for my friends. And i need a password script for each box. So only the person who i give the password can open the box. How can i do that? Is there any script or some similar? Thanks. And happy christmas

You don't need to do anything very unusual. Just have the person type the password in a llTextBox and accept the response only when it matches the one that you expected. If you're not a scripter, you can post in the InWorld Employment forum to hire one to write something simple.

Also... maybe the password ritual serves some roleplay purpose, but a script can easily give an object's contents to just one, pre-identified individual, without needing to resort to password-matching. It's probably an easier script, and certainly more reliable, but I recognize there may be other, less practical reasons for the password approach.
