The next easiest way is to win L$ by playing games like PaleoQuest or Linden Realms or by entering contests in clubs. Here's a starter list of other possibilities >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/How_to_Earn_Linden_Dollars_in_Second_Life . You won't get loads of L$ in any of those games or contests, but you can at least have fun and have a little loose change for it.
The hardest way is to make things that people want to buy or provide a service that people are willing to pay you for. There is almost no need for unskilled labor in SL, so there are very few "jobs", and they don't pay well. (Check out the InWorld Employment forum to see.) On the other hand, if you have real talent for scripting or creating 3D mesh models or animations, or if you are a talented musician or a DJ, you may be able to compete with all the other talented people in Sl and carve out a corner of the economy for yourself. People who can compete in that end of SL can do quite well.

You don't make it.. You either BUY it or EARN it or WIN it.
The easiest way is to buy L$ on the Linden Exchange. It's fast and easy, and you can get a good-sized bankroll for less than you'd pay for a Big Mac and fries in RL. Read here about how to register a payment method and then use the Linden Exchange >>> https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Buying-and-selling-Linden-dollars/ta-p/700107
