First you need to decide if you want to make mesh clothes, or system clothes or both. Then decide what you need help with.  There are also plenty of tutorials on the web that teach both.  Here is a wiki page that is about clothing design with the templates you need for both system clothes and mesh as well as links to tutorials and other helpful information.  It is a good place to start so you know what you need.

You can post a request for private lessons in the In World Employment section of the forums. If you want a private tutor.

You can also check what free classes are offered in world at places like Builders Brewery, CaledonUniversity, NCI.

Aside from the resources above, there is plenty of information on the web about this subject, both in written and video form.  Google is your friend here.

Many clothing designers used combinations of these resources when learning.

There are several!  I teach Second Life topics at Caledon Oxbridge University, and they offer a few basic building and scripting classes, including one on making a flexi skirt.  There are also New Citizens Incorporated (NCI) which has several campuses in world, and Builders Brewery.  Both offer classes in basic clothing creation.

There is a great set of self-paced tutorials on the Second Life building tools at The Ivory Tower Library of Primitives.

None of the above are specifically specialized for clothing designers, but all of them teach things that will be useful to you.  However, a lot of clothing creation takes place using software outside of Second Life.  You will also want to take classes or online tutorials in Photoshop or GIMP for texture creation, and in Blender or Maya or LightWave 3D for mesh creation.
