why wont SL work with windows 10?

its saying my graphic card isnt installed or is out of date . i checked it and its fine. never had this issue till i upgraded.

I know how you feel I am having the same issue.I just updated to windows 10 on my laptop and it won't even let me log into SL on Firestorm or Singularity viewers.I wish SL would help us with this problem. :mansad:

instead of asking here you really have to be at your manufactorers website/help

W10 and SL work fine.

I to have the same issue. SL won't let me login, and I just installed MS-10

My partner has installed windows 10 on four computers and it works.  The key is that you must update your graphics drivers to windows 10 drivers.

it can be 1 of 2 issues

 

1 your graphics drivers are out of date for win 10

2 Your graphics card may not be compatible to handle the new windows for 3d avatar 3d scroller type of games with the NEW win 10 update...  

3. You have a conflict with your reg graphics card driver 9the one that runs the graphics normally for a basic computer not suited for completx and over graphically taxing games----like SL)   and your extra one---the one that can run Second Life....

4. BACK UP your settings>>>CLEAN INSTALL your viewer.....makesure its the right one you are installing.....so If you have under 2 GIG of RAM u have a 32 bit system--- so install that ---- if u have 4 GIG and higher---u have a 64 bit system.....that way you will beable to install the one your computer will beable to handle..
