can I change my user name it says name is to long when somebody trys to add me as owner on ther AO. Thanks for the help.

No, I'm sorry to say that you can not change your name. That is, your account name. All you can do is change your display name, but I'm not sure that would make a difference.

You username is you account ID and no it cannot be changed after registration. You would need to start over with a new account.

I would suggest contacting the creator of the AO and asking if it is possible for them to change the limits of their script to allow the same number of characters as the maximum that SL allows.

I am guessing you meant they can't add you to a dance HUD? If so it is the HUD problem not the name. Most HUDs if they are well scripted will allow them to enter only the first few letters of your name like Sarahs and it will find you.
