So Whimsy
Hello! After a long hiatus due to RL issues, I'm back and have noticed that when I want to buy Linden from SL it charges me more than usual. As an example, 20,000 Linden cost $81.28 right now. In my currency, which is the Euro that would come to €63,36.However when I proceed to buy it with my credit card it tells me the cost is €78.59.A difference of a staggering €15!Is this normal? When has this started? I tried googling whether or not they added a tax on L purchases put couldn't find anything.
0 valerie Inshan
It doesnt have anything to do with LL charging taxes. As of today, the Euro went down close to parity to the USD: 1,01 Euro for 1 USD as per the latest Paris stock Exchange. So yes, buying L$ for Europeans costs - at least for now - more than it used to. Let's only hope the Euro raises again!!!
0 Alwin Alcott
take the advanced buying option and make a limit buy, you get more for the same money, even when the € is low
