Tenly
I found some good scripts for creating window blinds but unfortunately not enough details for me to know what the heck to do with them. The LSL curtain script is pretty easy for a curtain, and says it can be used for blinds, but I do not understand how to use it for window blinds as there are no details in the comments. Pivot point? what the heck is that? Also purchased some window blind textures...but these with no script or how to use them. 4 positions, open, closed, up, and I think the 4th is down. One script says something about a pivot point and lord I dunno what that means.Id like to use the textures and a script for them. and Id also like to create my own using a one prim blade that I can texture or color.Ive searched SL, and other virtual libraries and dont find how to use together. Not even an example I can tear apart to see what does what...which is how I learned html and css long ago. so...ideas?
ChinRey
Can't you simply make a curtain and rotate it 90 degrees?
Bobbie Faulds
That's basically what you do...make the prim, add the textures and then the script. pivot it so it opens up and down rather than side to side. You can use the same script for bed covers too.
Tenly
pivot the actual physical curtain? or pivot something in the script?
