Forum account downgrade

Somehow my forum account got downgraded from member to honored resident. I can't even leave kudos now.

There have been no violations, I just haven't been too active lately.

Is this normal?

I'm actually a bit upset that I can't even give kudos for good answers.

Any recommendations how to fix this?

It's all magic.  None of us understand it.  Apparently, though, your rank in the forums is a function of the number of times you have posted, the number of your posts that have been marked as accepted, and the number of kudos you have received.  If someone decides to UNaccept one of your answers or takes back a kudos, your totals go down, so your rank could too.  At least that's what it says in the Community Help document.
