  1. Hi! I'm so sorry this happened to you. We are just players and forum users like you. Lindens don't come here to look for complaints. I assume you reported those players inworld? The best thing you can do is report and block them, and stop reacting to them. If you ignore them it will stop being fun for them and they will eventually stop. Best of luck.
  2. I hope you'll get your money back. Glad it wasn't more than that at least. Good luck.
  3. You cannot. The account was createdin 2008. You did not create it in 2015 - SL hasn't had an option to add last name since around 2010. If you say that you were "born" in 2015 - how did you come to have that name and account?
  4. File a support ticket http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-contact-customer-support/ta-p/739385 Desculpe eu não falo português
  5. Go to preferences (1) Go to Preferences >> Graphics (Advanced) and check the box that says Hardware Skinning. Also make sure you have basic shaders on. (2) Open your Advanced menu (CTRL + D) >> Debug Settings and type in MeshMaxConcurrentRequests . Increase the value that you see in the menu there -- try doubling it, maybe -- and click the X to close the window.
  6. Alphas are transparent...that's the definition of them. However, what you are not seeing are the mesh body parts/clothing that are supposed to be in the empty spaces. To be honest, right now I'm not sure how to change that, I think it might be something in the settings..but your problem is not alpha layers, it's mesh.
  7. Somehow my forum account got downgraded from member to honored resident. I can't even leave kudos now. There have been no violations, I just haven't been too active lately. Is this normal? I'm actually a bit upset that I can't even give kudos for good answers. Any recommendations how to fix this?
  8. Pretty much it all depends....this was the answer LL provided to that question:
  9. This is a good place to start reading up on it: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Buying-land/ta-p/700043
  10. You cannot rename your avatar. You can request a custom last name for new avatars (multiple avs) but you have to pay $500 set up fee and $500 annual fee. The name has to be a corporate name - can't be just Xenga or Smith...more like XengaIndustries, SmithOptics..etc.. All info here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Custom_Name_Program
  11. @Madelaine Remember the times when we teleported and had everything attached to our butts? Hair, shoes...etc...right on our behind... Good times!
  12. And before it was 25 (which we thought was amazing because we waited years for that) it was 15!!!! And long before that it used to be 10!!! What I mean...be glad it's 42. That alone is more than four times what it used to be.
  13. $500 set up fee and $500 annual fee. All info here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Custom_Name_Program
  14. I don't think this is going to work for SL...you should seriously send it to me Just kidding, if this set up doesn't work with ultra settings and all the bells and whistles I don't know what will
  15. Personally, I doubt this is true. Nothing in that regard on the phoenix website or any other reputable sources...just the spelling in that text is suspicious...I get that the writer is German...but also seems to hold a grudge against the viewer.. I'm voting for a troll/hoax.
  16. Have you tried using the resize script? You have to be in a regionw that allows scripts.
  17. What is the maturity rating of the region and what is theirs?
  18. Meh. I'm missing my $500 stipend. They did take out directory listing fee though. Figure!
  19. It will be taken out of your USD account balance or out of your method payment on file you have authorized. So yes, you will have to sell your L$ if you want to use it to cover your membership fees. More billing information here: https://secondlife.com/corporate/billing.php
  20. If happen to be in a location where scripts are not permitted your AO will not turn on. If you have trouble check the top bar for the no scripts icon.
  21. Drake is actually right. While according to the ToS any forms of avatars are permitted to go anywhere an owner of an adult sim with pose balls would be stupid not to band child avatars. They do not want to be banned for promoting child play of that character.
  22. I'm afraid the Sl 10B bears are non-transferable.
  23. Any chance you are still wearing an animation overrider from the previous avatar?
