I am on an iMac and after installing second life i am trying to delete the installer from the desktop without much luck.  i have tried right clicking and ejecting, i have tried dragging it to the trash and it still sits on the desktop.  Any ideas on how to get rid of the installer?

thanks

That's a new one to me. :o I just installed the latest version of the viewer and had no issue dragging the installer (along with the .dmg file) to the bin and empty the trash (I'm on an iMac too).

Sorry if it sounds stupidly obvious, but did you try to completely switch off your Mac and restarted a new session?

Second Life doesn't have an "installer" per se. You open the .dmg and drag the app to your Applications folder.

Then you unmount the .dmg and drag it to the Trash. Unmounting means ejecting.

If you cant drag it to the Trash, you're probably running SL from the .dmg still. (which is not a good idea)
